This performance is a special chance to hear three of Bach’s beloved Cello Suites — Nos. 1, 3, and 5. Holding a very special place in the musical canon, these unaccompanied suites are a musical touchstone, particularly the beloved Suite No. 1. Weilerstein recently recorded all six suites, which became a best-selling album.
